RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEACHERS

 

1. ONLY AGREE TO TEACH IF YOU REALLY WANT TO. DESIRE AND RIGHT SPIRIT ARE IMPORTANT NOT JUST FEELING OF OBLIGATION.
2. Attendance at scheduled teachers meeting is expected. Everyone's input is needed and welcomed.
3. BE WILLING to spend adequate time in prayer and preparation for each week (Saturday night is too late to start!)
4. Plan to BE PRESENT each Sunday of your quarter/s if at all possible. Your students expect to see you there. If it is necessary to be away from your class, please allow as much time as possible to find a replacement so they have time to prepare, be sure they know what the lesson I for that Sunday and that they have access to the material.
5. Please BE ON TIME! This is very important for students. You should be in your class to welcome the children at least ten minutes ahead of time.
6. Pick up your material in plenty of time to familiarize yourself with it. We will try to have material available at least two weeks before a new quarter starts.
7. Please use the material chosen, not something you choose. (Hangman is not included in the text or curriculum)
8. Plan to make time each week for memory work that is being assigned to the various age groups and review past memory work as time allows.
9. Last but not least – BE ENTHUSIASTIC!
